Full Time, Consulting Vacancy In London
CDM Advisor required to join a commercial design and build company. You will have responsibility for managing your own projects – being the key interface between and liaising with the Client Teams, Design Teams, Principal Contractors, and others.
This is a regional role supplying service to clients primarily across London. The business has an office in London with some home working flexibility.
Duties include:
Providing CDM advice and support to Clients.
Visiting project sites to assess potential health & safety risks, buildability constraints, access restrictions and on- site hazards.
Preparing Pre-Construction Information, Construction Phase Plans and Health and Safety Files.
Co-ordinating and attending design meetings and project meetings.
Review surveys, records and assess any potential risks to health & safety during both construction and post completion.
Work with the design team in preparing and updating CDM Risk Registers
Near miss and accident investigation where required.
Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all HSE legislation and any developments that affect the company.
Experience
You will have a proven track record of providing CDM support and advice and implementing practical safety and health systems within a construction environment. You will have supported Clients, Designers and Contractors to fulfil their duties under CDM 2015
Qualifications
Ideal: NEBOSH Construction Certificate. Principal Designer/CDM accreditation/qualifications.Desirable: NEBOSH Diploma or Health and Safety Degree. Chartered status. APS Membership
