Solicitor – Civil, Crime and Commercial Litigation £40,000 to £45,000
This niche commercial in house client on the Hertfordshire/Essex border seeks a Civil and Commercial litigation with possible crime regulatory exposure, a Solicitor.
OFFICE BASED
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated solicitor with 1-3 years PQE and both civil and commercial litigation experience to join this thriving in house client with over 30 years of service, on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will use their knowledge and experience to assist commercial clients on a range of disputes which include crime regulatory and will contribute to the ongoing development of the firm. This role is office based.

Responsibilities
Undertaking fee earning work for commercial clients
Regulatory
Assisting directors and other fee earners
Advising and representing clients
Managing client’s workload
Working with accounts team to manage credit control matters
Gaining good working relationships
Supervising support/junior staff
Appeals
Debt collection
Transport & regulatory offences
The Candidate
Qualified Solicitor with 1-3 Years PQE
A 2.1 degree
Essential Desirable Attainments – education/qualifications: BSc/BA degree and Legal qualifications
Attention to detail
Experience in a similar role including knowledge of time recording and billing
Works to an exceptional high standard while keeping high standards of customer care
Strives to achieve targets whilst keeping to tight deadlines
Shows great attention to detail
Confident working to own initiative
Ability to touch type
Holds a full UK driving licence with access to a car as travel to clients’ offices will be part of this role
