Commercial Property Paralegal
Our Client an established law firm with a heritage going back over 100 years based in the heart of Chelmsford with an excellent reputation throughout Essex . Are recruiting for an experienced and ambitious Commercial Property Paralegal to join their busy property team.
The Role:
1. You will be working closely under the direction and supervision of the solicitors
2. Take instructions or messages from clients and pass on to fee earner
3. To maintain an efficient diary system highlighting milestone dates on each matter and use bring forward system
4. To maintain filing system in an orderly manner to ensure correct conduct for client files, ensuring all files are opened and closed correctly
5. Granting of leases, Lease extensions
6. Variations to existing leases
7. Licences to assign and alter
8. Commercial and Agricultural land sales and purchases
9. Overage deeds
10. Deeds of easements
11. Sales and purchases of small business
The Candidate
* 1 years’ experience within Commercial Property
* Paralegal qualifications/experience
* Computer literate. Sound working knowledge of Microsoft office
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* The ability to work as part of a team and deliver excellent client care
* Effectively prioritise and have excellent organisation skills for a fast paced workload with tight deadlines
* Pleasant working environment
* Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm
* 25 days annual leave Plus Bank Holidays
* Contributory pension scheme
