An exciting opportunity has arisen within this growing, leading manufacturer of medical devices into the global market for a Compliance Officer at its Slough facility working in a hybrid role.
THE ROLE
The role of Legal Compliance Officer will report diretly into the Site Director and will be a hybrid position. You will be responsible for identifying, analysing, remediation actions and documenting corporate risk to ensure the company’s business practices comply with all applicable domestic and international legal and regulatory requirements and ethical standards. Other responsibilities include:
* Manage regulatory change when required and ensure that all employees and stakeholders comply with applicable rules and regulations through the provision of guidance, SOP’s, advice, and training.
* Performing the role of Local Compliance Officer for all UK activities, also in coordination with the parent company.
* Maintain a compliance framework that promotes a proactive compliance culture.
* Identify, and manage the regulatory risk relevant to the business and support the business by the operation of an effective compliance control environment.
* Ensure the operation of a Compliance program that monitors day to-day adherence to the business's policies and procedures.
THE PERSON
In order to succeed in the role of Compliance officer, ideally you will have a degree in ecomomics, Law or similar as well as experience of working within a risk or compliance role or similar. You will also need compliance and regulatory affiars experience.
