A fantastic opportunity to join a well-known law firm has arisen within my client’s residential conveyancing department. My client is looking for someone who has previously working as conveyancing assistant and is looking for a step up in their career. The role will include career progression, support within the role, as well as a friendly working environment, agile flexible working, staff rewards scheme and more.
As an assistant you will be very much involved in all conveyancing duties, up to and following completion with regular customer contact. If your keen to build a career, then this is a unique opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Providing assistance, up to and following completion.
Updating clients throughout the process.
Liaising with estate agents and other third parties.
Assisting the residential property solicitors, as required.
Working to the business policies, procedures and adhering to all SRA standards, including compliance to Anti Money Laundering and source of funds and wealth.
Prioritising and performing urgent requests from clients and other third parties.
Using a case management system (Proclaim)
Planning, prioritising and managing your workload and working day.
Embracing technology, change and advancement in the conveyancing industry and within the firm.
Experience as a paralegal or assistant, with a “can do” attitude is what my client is looking for. Also, the ability to have empathy for people from all walks of life.
