Leading US law firm is looking to hire a new Apprenticeship to work as a Corporate Responsibility Administrator. This role is ideally focused toward candidates who have an interest in Diversity & Inclusion, Corporate Social Responsibility, Pro Bono or the Charitable sector. This Apprenticeship is for 20 months, you will be based in the stunning London office, working 5 days a week and by the end of your Apprenticeship you will have achieved Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability Practitioner (Level 4).

This Corporate Responsibility Administrator role's purpose will be to support the HR & Diversity Director, Pro Bono Counsel, and Diversity and Corporate Responsibility Specialist with all Diversity, Pro Bono, CSR, and Sustainability matters.
Corporate Responsibility Administrator duties and responsibilities will include:
Diversity
* To assist with local events programming and communications in order to raise awareness of initiatives such as Pride, International Women’s Day, Black History Month, etc. for the European offices.
* To work with the Marketing team to monitor upcoming awards and flag potential submissions.
* To assist the Diversity and CR Specialist with diversity initiatives for trainee recruitment.
* To assist with Prime work experience programmes.
* Coordinate monthly meetings with diversity committees for the London office and globally, including collating and setting agendas and meeting minutes.
* To update related content. To include induction manuals, external webpages and intranet pages where appropriate.
* To assist with any ad-hoc diversity related projects.
Corporate Responsibility
* To provide administrative support for the YMCA Flagship programme.
* To ensure that the CSR and volunteering tracker is kept up to date.
* To assist with coordination of annual fund raising events such as the Tour de Law and the London Legal Walk.
* To provide administrative support of the office’s environmental awareness group meetings and any subsequent communications/events.
* To provide admin support for any events held by the firm, including booking meeting rooms and organizing travel.
* To update related content. To include induction manuals, external webpages and intranet pages where appropriate.
* To assist with any ad-hoc CSR related projects.
Pro Bono
* To support the administration of the firm’s pro bono projects by undertaking case management, maintaining records of pro bono matters, and working with lawyers and staff across the firm to understand and follow systems, guidance, and procedure.
* To assist with business development by carrying out new client due diligence, drafting letters of engagement and submitting new business forms.
* To support with communications by working with the marketing team to draft and update internal and external materials, supporting the preparation of proposals and presentations for a wide range of audiences, and responding to periodic and ad-hoc requests.
Sustainability
* To provide administrative support for the London and Global sustainability programme.
* To update related content. To include induction manuals, external webpages and intranet pages where appropriate.
* To assist with collation of sustainability data.
The following candidate attributes are desirable for this position:
* Experience of general administration in an office environment, preferably in a professional services environment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
* Able to work harmoniously and effectively in a team environment.
* Able to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretion.
To be eligible for this Apprenticeship you must hold five GSCEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English (non-UK qualifications also considered) at equivalent of grade C, be aged 18 or over by 1 September 2022 and not undertaking another apprenticeship or government funded qualification at the same time
