Salary: £60,000–£90,000 (depending on experience)
Location: UK-wide (London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow) – hybrid working
As a Cost Assurance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in reviewing, validating, and advising on cost estimates and contract data across high-profile programmes such as HS2, nuclear, and major civils frameworks. You’ll work with clients to ensure cost accuracy, risk management, and commercial integrity throughout project delivery.
Essential Requirements
Background in estimating and cost management
Experience in cost assurance, verification, or post-contract commercial review
Strong analytical and communication skills
Comfortable working with clients and presenting complex cost data
Consultancy or client-side experience preferred
Nice to Have
Professional membership (RICS, ACostE, APM)
Defence, nuclear, or transport sector experience
Familiarity with cost systems, benchmarking, and cost intelligence tools
