Court of Protection Paralegal
£20000 – £27000/annum
Full Time, Legal Vacancy In Greater Manchester
My client is searching for a Court of Protection Paralegal to join their Sale, Trafford, Greater Manchester offices.
Key Purpose of Role
• To provide cost-effective administrative and secretarial support to the partner and other senior fee-earners in the team in the work of the department
• Undertake certain elements of fee-earning work under supervision but not as a designated matter handler.
Key Responsibilities
• Providing paralegal support to the Court of Protection Team
• Supporting existing Paralegal with client unoccupied property inspections
• Attending on client property clearances, lock changes
• Liaising with estate agents and other professionals
• Preparing detailed and accurate file notes
Desirable skills
• Fee Earning Experience
• Court of Protection Experience
• Experience using Proclaim or a case management system
• Ability to keep Accurate time recording
• Ability to prepare accurate and detailed file notes
• Experience dealing with vulnerable clients
Miscellaneous
• Carry out any other duties as appropriate to the nature of the post as required
• Attend staff and departmental meetings as required
• Undergo such training as might be appropriate for the role
• Uphold the aims and principles of all the firm’s policies
