Electrical Design Engineer – To £50K + profit share + progression + purpose.
Just like the Sydney Harbour Bridge represented innovation within Australia, this new London office represents a new chapter of progression and innovation within the UK.
The Company
Established over a decade ago in Australia, this MEP Design and Sustainability Consultancy now employs over 300 engineers from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. They established a London office in 2024, which is already up to seven people; and they have a clear plan to be a 50 strong office by 2030.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the hands on and extremely supportive MEP Director, you'll get involved in a broad range of projects including offices, hotels, stadiums and mixed-use developments; both in the UK and overseas.
You'll enjoy working in a flat structure with zero office politics; and be trusted to just get on with designing, managing and delivering projects. Whilst their electrical team is growing in London, you'll have full support and access to their 50+ electrical engineers in Australia (many of whom are British and familiar with UK regs and CIBSE guidelines etc) to help you with drawings, calculations and specifications.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you be rewards with a basic salary up to £50K, an annual bonus of up to 10%, 25 days annual leave a hybrid working policy. You'll also have a clear path to Senior within two years and get a big say into the future direction and overall success of their office in London as it continues to grow to around 50 MEP Design and Sustainability Engineers.
Essential Requirements
3+ years' experience as an Electrical (Building Services) design engineer.
Previous experience working for a consultancy (ie Building Services, or multi-disciplinary)
Able to use Revit and Electrical calculation software such as Amtech (Trimble Pro Design) or Electrical OM.
Above all, a good attitude and able to work as part of a team.
