I am currently looking for a Family Paralegal to join a successful law firm based in Blackburn. The ideally candidate will have experience dealing with private family law matters.
The role will involve:
Assisting with private funded caseloads including divorce, finances, Children Act matters and advocacy
Dealing with legal aid matters
Ensure Family Law knowledge is up to date and is familiar with all relevant legislation
Liaise closely with other fee earners in the team and with clients
The ideal candidate:
Good relationship management skills
Experience in working with Proclaim case management system (desirable)
Be self-motivated and use initiative
Understand and embrace the concept of “excellent customer service” coupled with “urgency to get things done”.
