Financial Services Solicitor
£110000 – £120000/annum Salary Negotiable DOE

Our client is one of the largest law firms in the world, with offices in over 40 key capital cities. Their London office is now ranked in 30 categories within the Legal 500 UK 2023. Our client is looking to recruit an ambitious Legal Financial Services Solicitor to complement the existing Asset Management & Investment Funds team. The ideal Financial Services Solicitor candidate will be 2 years’ PQE with previous experience in Investment Management and Financial Services. They will also have some background, and/or interest, in a range of areas regulated by the FCA and PRA including asset management, broking, derivatives trading, payment services, banking, e-money, fintech/crowdfunding, consumer financial services, insurance mediation, money laundering etc.
Legal Financial Services Solicitor Role:
* Advising on relevant financial services regulations in the UK and EU
* Assisting clients to make investments in various markets around the world
* Establishing regulated and unregulated funds
* Advising on fund-raising options and initiatives
* Use of financial technology to create new platforms for the trading and marketing of investments
* Serving as counsel to industry associations on a variety of manners including; legislative and policy matters, and actively involved in industry developments
* Working in multiple jurisdictions aiding members of the global team
Legal Finance Solicitor Skills & Requirements:
* Ideally 2+ years’ PQE solicitor, negotiable for the right candidate
* Previous experience in Investment management and Financial Services
* Previous experience of advising asset managers
* Adaptable and proven capability to work under own initiative
* Attention to detail essential
* Outstanding client management skills
* Previous experience in business development desirable
* Exceptional organisational skills
* Ability to work well to deadlines
* Ideal candidates will have some background, and/or interest, in a range of areas regulated by the FCA and PRA including asset management, broking, derivatives trading, payment services, banking, e-money, fintech/crowdfunding, consumer financial services, insurance mediation, money laundering etc
