Head of Commercial Property – Somerset
Full Time, Legal Vacancy In Somerset
Exciting opportunity to join and first rate law firm in the South West which has been established for over 150 years of providing excellent legal services to the local population.
The right person will either be a qualified Solicitor or FCILEx with good Commercial Property knowledge and experience.
The Commercial Property department regularly deal with including but not limited to: acquisitions and disposals land developments, property management, re-mortgages, landlord and tenant, and working on joint matters with the corporate team as required.
To be successful in this role you will need to be commercially aware and be able to work on projects alone with some assistance from senior partners if required. Supporting other fee earners is also part of this role together with being proactive in business development and cementing firm and lasting relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
This is a role in which definite progression is offered.
The work will include but not be limited to:
* Sales and acquisitions – including development sites
* Commercial/residential property development
* Commercial leases
* Landlord and tenant
* Small business sales and purchases
* Transfer of going concerns
* Secured lending work.
The right person should have good commercial property experience, and possess an excellent client care acumen. The ability to make lasting relationships is essential as is being a team player with a can-do attitude.
