Tired of running on the never-ending treadmill of incidents? Work becoming to much BAU? Are you looking for the chance to help build new capabilities?

CND are working with a boutique Cyber consultancy to help build out their consulting team. The role’s remit is to work with their clients, both domestic and overseas to help develop and construct effective SOC and IR teams. This role requires not only good technical skills, but also expert stakeholder management skills, working with diverse teams of differing priorities to drive towards uplifting the organisation’s security posture. You will work with a variety of stakeholders, from junior to executive director. Not every environment will be fully certain and your diplomacy skills with help to shape the way forwards.

When not supporting the interesting client base, you will be assisting with incidents within the client’s managed service SOC.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work to flesh out early stage engagements, defining the way forwards and working with the client

* Ensure stakeholder satisfaction is paramount within delivery

* Work and lead on IR engagements, offering technical knowledge throughout the incident

* Support the development of SOC functions

* Use available CTI to supplement IR activity

* Positively challenge both the business and clients to ensure that all avenues are explored

Essential Skills:

* Experience working to deliver Incident Response activities and engagements

* Knowledge and understanding gained from working in a SOC

* Skills working with SIEM, EDR and DFIR tooling

* Overall strong understanding of the concepts that underpin tooling

* Ideally experience of delivering consultancy around Cyber Security.
