Our client, an international law firm in London, are seeking a Legal Secretary to support their Corporate team.
The successful candidate will be a hardworking, efficient, and proactive Legal Secretary, supporting the Corporate team on a day to day basis. Your focus will be to provide exceptional service levels to Partners, Fee- Earners and their clients. Duties to include:
Produce correspondence, legal documents, memos and other written materials
Maintain client and fee-earner files, letters, memos and other materials including e-filing
Coordinate with fee earners on a continual basis to prioritise work
Arrange appointments and maintain fee-earners' calendars
Maintain time records
Answer the telephone, transfer calls, take messages; place outgoing local and long distance calls
Prepare expense forms and secure proper approvals required for all accounting forms, petty cash, entertainment, trip accounts, etc.
Assist fee-earners preparing billing records, letters and statements to clients
Deal with AML requests, conflict searches and opening new files This is a full time role, working Monday – Friday, 9.30am – 5.30pm
A minimum of 4 years previous Legal Secretary/PA experience within a law firm
Accurate typing speed of at least 70 words per minute
