Military Claims Paralegal – Cambridge – Claimant – Hybrid
My client, a Top 25 UK law firm is recruiting for an experienced paralegal to join their Serious Injury and Illness team based in Cambridge city centre.
The successful candidate will be joining the team who is lead by a partner who specialises in military injury claims against the Ministry of Defence. Many of these claims involve the loss of a service career, which can be a distressing and uncertain time for soldiers and their families.
The Role:
Working with qualified Case Handlers to provide legal support on several cases to deliver an outstanding client experience.
Ensuring that client queries are dealt with quickly, efficiently and with empathy, taking appropriate action.
Working independently under supervision and as part of a team to progress cases.
Liaise with a wide range of clients and medical professionals, in person, over the phone and in writing.
The Candidate:
Previous paralegal experience is essential
Ability to work on own initiative
Ability to manage time effectively
High attention to detail
