An outstanding opportunity to join a fast growing full service firm is available for a dedicated Private Client Solicitor with 2-5 years PQE based in South Buckinghamshire.
The Private Client Solicitor's role
The Private Client Solicitor will be client-facing and manage a busy caseload. Their technical expertise and comprehensive knowledge of probate, administration of estates, wills, lasting powers of attorney, trusts, inheritance tax, and capital gains tax will be crucial to their success in this role.
The Private Client Solicitor responsibilities
We seek a Solicitor with 2-5 years PQE and a strong background in wills, trusts, and probate to join our expanding department. Key responsibilities include:
Handling your own caseload efficiently and accurately.
Technical expertise and knowledge including Probate and Administration of Estates, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts, Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax
Meeting personal billing targets, except under exceptional circumstances.
Performing fee-earning work in line with the firm's quality and risk management procedures.
Demonstrating flexibility by managing multiple matters concurrently.
Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Ensuring proper control of work in progress, billing, and cash collection.
Being proficient in fee recording and administration.
Developing new work from existing clients and seeking new clients.
Supporting marketing initiatives and promoting the firm through a professional network.
Maintaining IT skills relevant to modern legal practice.
Traveling to other offices and client sites as required.In Return?
