Full Time, Legal Vacancy In Derbyshire
Sue Ross Legal are recruiting for a Probate Solicitor on behalf of Regional, full-service law firm. This is an exciting role for a 1 -5-year PQE admitted Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive to join a highly established department based at the Derbyshire North Office.
The ideal candidate will be eager to contribute to the growth and expansion of this team and continue to develop as a technically skilled Lawyer. You must be able to demonstrate running an independent caseload and meeting or exceeding financial targets. The successful candidate will work well with others, with the ability to supervise and develop less experienced members of the team.
This role will require the handling a broad range of Private Client matters, mainly consisting of:
* Wills
* Trust and estate planning
* Probate and administration of estates
* Powers of Attorney/Deputyships
* Tax, and trusts and advising the elderly.
You will also work closely with the firm’s Contentious Probate Department.
The succesful candidate will be required to carry out matters from start to finish and support and collaborate on matters, with a high degree of competence and the ability to work to strict deadlines, with the client at the very forefront of everything you undertake. You will also be required to work on your own initiative and as part of a team and take direction and delegation from the Partner of the team. You will also be required to help maintain and develop new and existing relationships with the department’s key referrers.
