This is the chance to work in a well established independent law firm located in the London area. The work is a broad spectrum of Property Litigation.
This role is due to expansion after another amazing year.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced Litigation Paralegal who is diligent, self-motivated and a fast learner. The successful candidate will be working directly with a Partner and other qualified and unqualified staff. They will be able to demonstrate experience in the criteria listed below and be able to hit the ground running with variety of litigation matters. They must have technical knowledge commensurate to their level of experience as well as a pro-active approach to risk management, a willingness to learn, and a good knowledge of property transactions.
Essential skills
Educated to degree level;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team;
Be able to demonstrate confidence and self-motivation;
Able to work to strict deadlines and in a pressurised environment;
Attention to detail is essential;
IT literate;
Be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and to progress.
Essential Experience
Mortgagee Possession claims;
Debt recovery;
Landlord and Tenant work;
Experience in conducting County Court proceedings;
Exposure to general property litigation.
Desirable skills
LPC would be an advantage but not essential.
