Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Prosecutions Lawyer in Enfield. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.
Responsibilities include:
To conduct all aspects of complex and/or politically sensitive legal matters
To support, supervise and mentor colleagues where required by Principal Lawyer or Assistant Principal
To contribute to the management and strategy of the Legal Services Team
To advise members in public and private meetings including committees and sub-committees.
To conduct own advocacy and on behalf of the team, where relevant, including interim hearings The candidate:
Qualified Solicitor of England and Wales, Barrister, CILEX or equivalent
At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in Prosecutions and Enforcement
Experience in at least one of the following:
Prosecutions under the Housing Act 2004
Regulatory Crime;
Fraud;
Advocacy;
