Lawyer (SEN) REMOTE!
Service Care Legal are working with a Local Authority, based in the South Yorkshire, which is in need of a Lawyer to join their Corporate Governance and Regulatory Team. This role will predominantly handle SEN Appeals, general education advice and judicial reviews.
ROLE: Education Lawyer (SEN)
LOCATION: South Yorkshire (REMOTE)
RATE: £40-£50ph
CONTRACT: 6 months
The Role:
To manage a full caseload from inception to completion related
Technical knowledge and experience in special educational needs and be able to manage a varied caseload of SEND Tribunal appeals.
Will include advocacy in case management hearings and final hearings in the First Tier SEND Tribunal, with minimum supervision.The Person
A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister confident with remote working.
Ideally have previous experience of working within a Local Authority or Public Body
Have an excellent working knowledge in key education legislationBenefits:
