A dynamic and forward-thinking full-service law firm in South Buckinghamshire is looking for an experienced Corporate Solicitor to join the team.
Senior Associate – Corporate Lawyer Role:
The successful Senior Associate – Corporate Lawyer will join a vibrant Corporate and Commercial department, handling a diverse range of corporate work, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures (JVs), restructures, private equity, and venture capital. Senior Associate – Corporate Lawyer will work closely with the Partner in Charge, managing their own caseload while having exposure to partner-led transactions.
Senior Associate – Corporate Lawyer – Key Responsibilities:
Manage a variety of corporate transactions including M&A, JVs, restructures, private equity, and venture capital.
Collaborate with the Partner in Charge, balancing independent case management with support on partner-led projects.
Meet and exceed billing targets, ensuring all fee-earning work is completed accurately and in line with firm's quality and risk management procedures.
Develop new client relationships and maintain existing ones, actively seeking business development opportunities.
Travel to other offices and client sites as required.Required Experience and Skills:
Qualified Corporate Lawyer with 4-7 years PQE.
Extensive experience in corporate law, particularly in M&A, JVs, restructures, private equity, and venture capital.
Strong technical skills and commercial awareness.
Proven ability to handle demanding clients and fast-paced work environments.
Excellent negotiation skills and attention to detail.
Competence in client service, financial performance, technical ability, and business development.
Proficiency in modern legal practice IT skills and fee recording administration.In Return:
£60,000-£75,000 (based on PQE).
