Senior Building Physics Consultant
Location: Manchester, UK
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000
Purobuild are currently working with an award winning, global consultancy specialising in sustainable building design and engineering. This leading consultancy are looking for a Senior Building Physics Consultant to join their growing team based in Manchester. The successful candidate will join an established team working on some exceptional, complex projects across a range of sectors.
Responsibilities of the role:
– Provide energy and sustainability consulting services to clients across the built environment and construction sectors
– Building energy reports and offering recommendations on how systems can be improved
– Liaising with members of the building physics and sustainability team, project teams and design engineers
– Be confident building relationships with clients and offering them advice on building performance related matters
Senior Building Physics Consultant requirements:
• Minimum 3 years experience using IES VE and proficient undertaking energy analysis
• Qualified Low Carbon Energy Assessor (LCEA) (L5) & experience with Part L calculations
• Experience in operational Energy modelling (TM54 etc)
• Experience undertaking overheating/daylight assessments
• Experienced in IES ApacheHVAC for detailed energy modelling
• Low Carbon Consultant (LCC) and Low Carbon Energy Assessor (LCEA) qualification desired
