Senior Consultant – Sustainability
£55000 – £75000/annum 20% Bonus, Pension and good benefit
Full Time, Consulting Vacancy In London
A growing, specialist sustainability consultancy is seeking a Senior Consultant to be based in their central London office.
Reporting into the Practice Lead you will be working directly with clients across several sectors, delivering ESG strategy internationally to large, listed companies. You will oversee entire client accounts, managing workflows, deliver projects and build relationships with clients.
Duties will include:
– Strategic analysis of ESG opportunities relevant to each client’s business model
– Climate scenario analysis to create impact models, from which clients can understand risks and suitable strategies can be devised
– Board and C-suite advisory and management
– KPI and target selection
– Impact measurement frameworks
– Stakeholder and supply-chain engagement
– Materiality assessment and other reporting exercises
– Supporting business development by delivering pitches, supporting marketing with research, articles and attending conferences
Candidates MUST have:
– Good track record with sustainability, either at a consultancy; OR in-house corporate sustainability department with a focus on corporate ESG strategy and reporting
– Good client facing skills, including presenting and stakeholder management
– Experience managing small teams, in a project delivery or line management capacity
– Good data analysis skills
– Confident at liaising with senior management and influencing clients
Desirable are:
– Experience of planning and implementing net zero decarbonisation strategies
– Understanding of data analysis, data modelling and associated methodologies
– Understanding of a range of frameworks, such as: TCFD, SASB, SFDR, EU Taxonomy, SECR, SDGs, with experience in helping clients prioritise and implement these
– Understanding of a range of data and ratings providers, including: CDP, MSCI, Sustainalytics, DJSI, FTSE4Good, S&P Global
