A respected, independent planning consultancy in Bedford is seeking a Senior Town Planner to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Planner looking to progress their career, gain exposure to high-profile projects, and work within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of planning projects across residential, commercial and strategic land
* Prepare, submit and manage planning applications, appeals and appraisals
* Provide planning advice to clients and maintain strong client relationships
* Mentor junior colleagues and support team development
* Contribute to business development and the wider growth of the team
Requirements:
* MRTPI qualified (or working towards)
* Proven experience within a planning consultancy or local authority
* Strong communication, report writing and client-facing skills
* Ability to manage projects with autonomy and meet deadlines
