This role requires a meticulous and proactive individual with extensive experience (ideally 5 years plus) in residential conveyancing. The successful candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent client management skills, and a thorough understanding of legal compliance in property transactions.

Specific Duties
* Residential Conveyancing and Plot Sales – Handle all aspects of residential conveyancing and plot sales.
* Title Identification – Identify property titles and verify their accuracy.
* Searches – Conduct comprehensive property searches to ensure due diligence.
* Official Documentation – Apply for Official Copy Entries and Office Copy Documents as necessary.
* Local Authority Coordination – Obtain required documents and information from Local Authorities and other relevant bodies.
* Chasing Outstanding Items – Follow up on any outstanding items needed to progress transactions.
* Title Reporting – Prepare detailed reports on property titles for clients.
* Exchange and Completion – Manage the processes of exchange and completion, ensuring all legal requirements are met.
* Pre-Completion Land Registry Searches – Conduct necessary pre-completion searches with the Land Registry.
* Post-Completion Matters – Address and resolve all post-completion matters promptly and efficiently.
* Client File Management – Control and manage client files efficiently and effectively.
* Deadlines and Client Expectations – Ensure all deadlines are met and client expectations are fulfilled in line with the department’s objectives.
* Risk Management and Compliance – Adhere to firm guidelines regarding money laundering, risk management, and law society compliance.
* Client Care – Demonstrate exceptional levels of client care and customer service.
Qualifications
* Licensed Conveyancer OR Property Law Solicitor
* Experienced Licensed Conveyancer with CILEX or Solicitor quals also considered
