Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a town planning consultancy based in Dublin city centre. We have an excellent opportunity for a talented and ambitious town planner looking to take the next step on your career path and join the team as a Senior Planner/Planner.
About the role
The successful candidate will work as part of a team on a range of large-scale commercial, renewable energy, industrial, and data centre projects. The role will provide opportunities for professional and career development in a supportive environment. A Senior Planner/Planner will be expected to provide expert planning assistance on a diverse range of projects and will fulfil a client facing role including coordinating client meetings. The role will involve managing projects as part of one of Ireland's foremost planning consultancies, for a wide range of Irish and multi-national clients.
Experience
Irish Planning Institute and / or Royal Town Planning Institute accredited post-graduate degree, or equivalent.
Member of the Irish Planning Institute and / or Royal Town Planning Institute.
Minimum four years' relevant experience (preferably including private practice experience).
Demonstrable experience in some or all of the following areas advantageous, but not essential:
Renewable energy and electricity transmission projects.
Strategic infrastructure development projects.
