The STEP Advanced Certificate in Wills and Executries: Law & Practice (Scotland) provides technical knowledge of the issues arising in trusts and estate practice, enhancing the ability to give holistic and practical advice on the law and procedures involved to clients as a trusted advisor.
Main Purpose of the Wealth Management and Trusts Tutor:
* Reviewing the examination paper(s) or assignments and mark guides for their allocated programme(s)
* Liaising with the Examiner to discuss any comments and/or potential amends to each examination paper and mark guide confirming that it meets requirements
* Reviewing information from the examiner’s marking moderation meeting ahead of reviewing a sample of the marked examination scripts
* Attend the Exam Board and produce an External Examiner’s Report in relation to the examination paper, mark guide setting and marking processes, and any recommendations for future sittings
* Maintain excellent communication with CLTI throughout each sitting and adhere to strict deadlines
* Ensure that assessment and examination procedures have been fairly and properly implemented
The person in this role:
* Will know their thematic area inside and out, the latest trends and advancements in the industry?
* Has experience of writing assessment materials
* Has experience in delivering training in a relevant subject matter and industry knowledge area
* Is able to make sound, impartial judgements about the quality of provision and student performance
* Is able to write reports to a high standard
* Has strong interpersonal skills to ensure our education philosophy and products meet the needs of our diverse global markets Is highly organised and able to meet agreed timelines
* Is suitably qualified to provide the services with all due care, skill and ability to the highest standard
* Has experience of marking assessment materials in a relevant subject matter and industry knowledge area
* Is analytical and objective
